Mathew Jonson was on our list of dream bookings since we started The Bunker 12+ years ago. We finally got the chance to book him in late 2013, and now we are happy to welcome him back. Both "Typerope" and "Alpine Rocket" came out right around the time we launched our weekly at subTonic and were early favorites that we still play to this day (Servito has been dropping "Typerope" recently and we're not sure if "Alpine Rocket" ever left Plaslaiko's bag). Don't even front like you were a regular at subTonic if hearing "Return of the Zombie Bikers," "Decompression," or "Marionette" doesn't instantly transport you to that barrel-surrounded dancefloor. To this day, Mathew continues to release a seemingly endless stream of instant dancefloor classics. As much as we love his records, the way he puts it all together for his live show is truly unparalleled.

Delroy Edwards is a native of Los Angeles, CA. At 18, he moved to New York City where he spent time working at A1 Records with Ron Morelli, founder of Long Island Electrical Systems (L.I.E.S.). 2012 saw the release of his critically acclaimed EP – 4 Club Use Only (LIES). In 2013 he launched his own label, L.A. Club Resource, which has been very prolific with 15 releases to date from Delroy, other contemporary artists, and even the legendary Gene Hunt.

Heartthrob is an old friend from back before we even started The Bunker and it's been 5+ years since he's played for us, which is way too long. He quickly rose to fame with a series of releases on Richie Hawtin's M_nus label from 2005 to 2010. He has since moved on and started his own label: ISNISNT. The newly established label promises to deliver leftfield sounds within the house, disco and techno sphere from the American producer, acting as an outlet for his own productions and collaborations.

Bryan Kasenic (pka Spinoza) is known in the electronic music world for throwing The Bunker, playing adventurous DJ sets, and starting Beyond, his own booking agency. The past few years have seen Bryan take his infamous Brooklyn-based party, The Bunker, to Panorama Bar in Berlin, Corsica Studios in London, Unsound Festival in Krakow, Communikey Festival in Boulder, Decibel Festival in Seattle, Smartbar in Chicago, GAFFTA in San Francisco, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and of course Detroit. In January 2014, The Bunker celebrated it's 11th Anniversary and launched a record label. The record label released 12 records in it's first year and debuted at number 8 in Resident Advisor's year end top 20 labels of 2014 editor's poll.

The main thing you need to know about Mike Huckaby is that he has impeccable taste and the ability to see past petty genre divisions to bring together amazing sets that may cover everything from the deepest house and the darkest techno to classic tracks from 20 years ago that you didn't even realize existed. These skills have landed him endless gigs worldwide at huge clubs, and make him an ideal DJ for The Bunker dancefloor. Although his talents as a DJ are well documented, do not forget that he is also a very accomplished producer of dub techno and deep house, with tracks on his own Deep Transportation and S Y N T H labels, and endless remixes on labels around the world.

Hunee pretty much operates on his own terms, in his own world. Since a first release in 2009 he has been in no rush to make it big, but instead has slowly seeped out into the world his choice cuts of rhythmically playful and super-soul infused house music on labels like Rush Hour, Future Times and W.T. As a DJ, too, he is tireless and visibly enthusiastic at every gig. His selections are made with a palpable passion and cover a cultured cross section of essentials from house and disco to afro and techno. The music he serves up comes from a place of love and knowledge in equal measure - there are no cheap thrills with Hunee, just pure musical joy.

Mike Servito is from a very special yet temporary and partially lost fertile crescent of techno / house / party DJing. It was a time when raves were still a fresh idea, almost felt like a revolution, and DJs like Claude Young, D Wynn, Derrick Carter and Mike Huckaby were informing an upcoming generation. If you look directly to that inspired generation you will find the lost threads of Detroit Techno, House and beyond, you will find a group of DJs with insanely deep mixing skills, the ability to rock almost any kind of party with an improvisational approach that is so skilled it makes everything seem so well thought out that even they don't know where their set will go. But, it will take you there! In the future, this special generation of deep midwest mixers will be remembered and revered as the wizards they are, long after the trendy players have lost their luster.

Detroit never forgot about Mike Servito, his upfront dirty deep and bitchy taste has had an impact on Detroit nightlife for over a decade. From debuting in 1995 at Dat's Poorboy parties, to being a resident at blackbx and Ghostly's Untitled (along with Derek Plaslaiko, Tadd Mullinix, Matthew Dear, and Ryan Elliott), contributing to the bizarrely popular, wild and free Dorkwave, and progressing that concept into Sass (the hippest queer party in Detroit at the time), to blowing minds at Interdimensional Transmissions' No Way Back parties, Servito has made his impression. Moving to Brooklyn, Detroit's loss has been their gain, as he has found a proper home with a residency at The Bunker, and representation by Beyond Booking in North America and Odd Fantastic in Europe.
