The Bunker Hudson Valley thrilled to present our first all ages daytime Pride dance party in the Hudson Valley at Opus 40 in Saugerties, NY.

21 years ago The Bunker New York started as an event series on New York's then-gritty Lower East Side. Shortly thereafter, it also opened its own booking agency. In 2014 it became a record label to provide an outlet for the work of friends, party-goers and visiting artists. Over the years, The Bunker NY has grown into a community-driven, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization registered in the State of New York that is dedicated to the discovery, development, and promotion of new contemporary music and digital creativity in New York, prioritizing the work of LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and female-identifying artists and ensuring their sustained creative and professional well-being. In recent years, The Bunker has expanded north, presenting well received events as The Bunker Hudson Valley at Basilica Hudson and Opus40.

Opus 40, located in Saugerties, New York, is a mesmerizing work of art and a testament to one man's extraordinary vision. Created by sculptor and quarryman Harvey Fite over the course of nearly four decades, Opus 40 is a sprawling landscape of towering stone monoliths, intricate terraces, and winding pathways that blend seamlessly with the natural beauty of the surrounding Catskill Mountains. We are honored to be presenting this event at such a beautiful location.

Headlining the event is Mike Servito, the legendary Detroit-bred resident DJ of The Bunker New York. With a style as bold as his hometown, Servito dominates dance floors with an unapologetic flair and relentless energy. Aside from becoming a staple at all the major clubs and parties in NYC, Servito maintains his residency at No Way Back in Detroit, where he also frequently plays at Movement Festival, and has appeared on behind the decks at Panorama Bar, Dekmantel, Fabric, DC10 and pretty much everywhere else that matters. Somehow, today will be his Hudson Valley debut, and we welcome him with open arms!

Opening the event will be Camille Altay (they/them), a visual artist, composer and DJ who lives and works in Climax, New York. Camille spent formative years as a drum and bass dj in the house-heavy rave scene in Chicago in the late 90s. A contrarian in nature, Camille has been known to play genre-bending dj sets with influences ranging from Cumbia to Ghettotech. Camille has a recent release on the The Bunker’s long-form sub label Going In, is a founding member of of the group Birds of Prey (Kathexis Records, Mysteries of the Deep), and collaborates with LA artist Israel Vines under the moniker CAIV, with the most recent release Dwellers EP out on Tresor Records.

We don’t tolerate the kinds of behaviors that tell already marginalized people that they aren’t welcome or that their bodies aren’t safe. Consensual touch, respect for personal space, and being gentle with others’ mental states are all ways that members of our community express that collective care and safety are necessary for a good event. We don’t permit leering, commenting about others’ bodies, following people, taking photos or videos without consent, or other types of disrespectful or dehumanizing behavior – and being intoxicated enough that you can’t engage with these agreements is no excuse for harmful behavior and won’t be tolerated at our events. We suggest familiarizing yourself with our values and code of conduct before attending this event:
