The Bunker Hudson Valley with T4T: Eris Drew b2b Octo Octa at Basilica Hudson
110 South Front Street
all ages, 7p-12a
$10-20

It is with great excitement that Octo Octa and Eris Drew announce the first ever event powered by their new custom-built LUV NRG Soundsystem (the “System”). This ultimate alchemical object was assembled in secret by SBS Designs over 12 months. It will flex its 4 stacks, each measuring over 8.5 feet tall, for the first time in this “test style” event presented by The Bunker New York in affiliation with the Jupiter Nights series at Basilica Hudson. The System is maintained, tuned and wrangled by Faited (of Envelope Soundsystem). All 8 subs powered by the Motherbeat.

This event will feature an extended 5 hour all vinyl start to finish b2b set by Octa and Eris on the LUV NRG Soundsystem in Basilica Hudson’s North Hall. Nitemind will be providing lasers, pew pew! In the Gallery, Going In will present a chillout space with Community Rave Network’s SVB and Scotia, alongside The Bunker’s Bryan Kasenic.

Eris Drew and Octo Octa are loving partners who often DJ side by side. Their legendary B2B set is rooted in their shared vision of the dance floor as a site for ritual healing, ecstatic bonding and the pure experience of the power of music. They've been playing worldwide and bringing audiences along with them on their journey. Named the best DJs of 2019 by Mixmag, recently featured in Crack Magazine, DJ Mag and more. Eris and Octa also work together on the T4T LUV NRG party series and record label: "T4T LUV NRG releases limited edition alchemical objects for use in DJing, dancing, kissing and crying."

Policies:

If you don’t know someone’s pronouns, ask. Never assume you know or that pronouns can’t change. All genders are to be acknowledged and celebrated, including our beloved non-binary friends. There will be no tolerance of racism, transphobia, homophobia, sexism, body shaming, ableism, Islamophobia, agism, antisemitism, or anything less than total positivity towards sex workers.

Non-consensual touching is totally out. If you want to touch someone you should ALWAYS ask, even if you know the person. Everyone deserves 100% agency over their body and who touches them. That is true at all times and everywhere, including the dance floor.

Use any bathroom in the space regardless of your appearance, expression or identity. All bathrooms are gender neutral at the event. Your coercively assigned gender is meaningless here. What matters is who you are, or who you think you might be.

All are encouraged to party safely and with intention. Take care of your friends. Support responsibility rather than encourage excess. Set limits on what you want to consume before the party. Don’t be ashamed to ask for help getting home.
