From 1998 through 2004, Patrik Skoog was very well known for his brand of hard tribal techno, releasing many huge records on labels like Synewave, Plant Rhythm, Drumcode, and his own imprint native Diffusion. In early 2005, he started releasing music as Agaric, exploring the slower, deeper side of techno, taking cues from early influences like Robert Hood and Mike Ink. Around this time he started the We Are record label, releasing seven amazing 10"s with little or no information included aside from the catalog number. These records got a ton of play at the Bunker and on dancefloors around the world. Late last year, Agaric released the "Goose Step" single on Raum..Musik, which instantly became a Bunker floor filler week after week. Drumcode also just released "The Good Machine", his first record under his own name since 2005, with much success. Agaric played a stunning set at the Bunker back in November 2006 that people still comment on all the time, and we've been anxiously awaiting his return ever since.
