Secret Frequency Crew have been slowly building up a catalog of well received records, and have yet to release a dud. We were thrilled when one of the SFC members walked into the Bunker. These guys have covered a wide range of sound in just a few releases - their EP on Counterflow is more in the leftfield instrumental hip-hop / idm sphere, while their newer 12" on Mass Transit is a devastating electro bass bomb. We hear alot of Drexciyan influence in the sound and imagery of Secret Frequency Crew, but they definitely put their own unique spin on things. With a new album coming out on Schematic this spring, we think you'll be hearing alot about these guys in the near future. Tonight, they are playing on 4 turntables with lots of locked grooves, should be interesting.
