As soon as we saw the space at Ridgewood’s newest venue, Nowadays, and heard the incredible SBS sound system installed there, we knew it was time to take The Bunker Limited out of hibernation. After re-launching the classic one DJ all night format with a brilliant 8 hour set from our resident DJ Patrick Russell in February, we turn the reins over to Mike Servito for the March Edition.

It’s been six years since Servito officially joined The Bunker as a resident, and it’s been incredible to watch his ascent from Detroit’s best-kept secret to reluctant Brooklyn underground hero to the massive recognition and popularity across worldwide dancefloors that has followed. With no studio productions released until 2016 (his first was a brilliant remix of Justin Cudmore for HNYTRX that topped many year end charts), his rise was based purely on his exceptional talents as a DJ - no easy feat in today’s scene. While Servito has headlined nearly every relevant house and techno party in New York City, it’s rare to see him stretch out for an extended set, and he’s never played for 8 hours, so this will be a special treat indeed.

For those not familiar with The Bunker Limited: it’s an intimate event that began in the Public Assembly loft in 2011, and is meant for smaller rooms so capacity is much more limited than our other events. Tickets are strictly limited, there is no photography allowed, no guestlist, and the sets are not recorded. The idea is to create a special and unique experience just for the heads who show up.
