The Bunker presents 19.454.18.5.25.5.18, Jacek Sienkiewicz, and Eric Cloutier at Public Assembly Loft 70 North 6th Street 21, 10p-6a

Earlier this week, we got word that due to another club's event cancellation, there were some amazing artists in New York from overseas with no gig. Luckily, we were able to secure the loft above Public Assembly to give these guys a place to throw down. We are bringing in a full sound rig from Niksound (which we use in The Bunker's back room), which is sure to sound pretty sweet up there. Please note that this room is quite a bit smaller than our usual spot downstairs, so capacity will be more limited than usual for this special event. Early arrival is recommended to avoid disappointment, and believe us, this is NOT a party you're going to want to miss.
Not a whole hell of a lot is known about 19.454.18.5.25.5.18 other than the fact that he is an anonymous producer who has put out three amazing 12"s for the Horizontal Ground label in the past year or so that pay homage to the classic stripped down sound of 90's Chicago and Detroit (with a nice modern spin). These tracks have appeared in the sets of many DJs we admire, and even peaked Resident Advisor's interest so much that they pegged him down for a podcast. 19.454.18.5.25.5.18 has very rarely made any live DJ appearances, so we are especially excited to have him join us tonight.
Jacek Sienkiewicz was born in 1976 in Warsaw, Poland, where he still lives. After two years of DJing, he started performing live sets in 1996 and never looked back. He launched his own label, Recognition, in 2000, with an album and string of singles. Jacek's talent was quickly recognized by Sven Vath's Cocoon organization, who represent him worldwide, and have since released three of his albums. At this point, Jacek is well known for his unorthodox approach to live performance, and is in high demand, playing huge events such as Unsound (New York and Krakow), I Love Techno, Awakenings, Nature One, Love Parade, DEMF, Transmediale, and Mutek.
