Half Hawaii aka Bruno Pronsato & Sammy Dee (Perlon, Hello?Repeat | Berlin) live pa Jan Krueger (Hello?Repeat | Berlin) dj set JamesPatrick (Microphono, Vital Vinyl | Minneapolis) live pa Half Hawaii is the new project from techno superstars Bruno Pronsato and Sammy Dee. They released two singles last year on the mighty Perlon and Hello?Repeat labels, and are currently working on their debut album. While both of these artists have close ties to The Bunker and have appeared here many times separately, this is the first time they will perform together as Half Hawaii. Half Hawaii just made their North American debut at DEMF, and followed it up with a set at Mutek in Montreal, and nearly everyone we talked to at the festivals noted their sets as highlights. The Bunker is the only other place in North America they will appear on this tour, with no plans to return anytime soon. Both members are extremely busy with their own solo projects, and getting all of the gear required for a live set across the Atlantic is no small task. So yes, what we're getting at is that tonight is a very rare live appearance that you don't want to miss!

As if Half Hawaii wasn't enough, we are also extremely excited to present a DJ set from Jan Krueger. Jan has been involved in the German techno scene since the mid-90's, doing everything from DJing, to throwing parties, to a recent stint as sales manager at the highly respected distributor Word and Sound. He recently left Word and Sound to focus on his DJ career and Hello?Repeat, the label he started with Daze Maxim. Jan has already made quite a name for himself in Berlin, as his summer DJ schedule shows (upcoming gigs at Watergate, Panorama Bar, and Club Der Visionäre). His first North American gigs were in Detroit on DEMF weekend at the Need I Say More 3 afterparty at the Old Miami, and the Accelerate closing party at The Works on Monday. He made quite an impression at both gigs, and kinda stole the show from bigger name DJs. We're super excited to present him for the first time in NYC.

And finally, we have JamesPatrick from Minneapolis here to do a live set. He's in town to become the first person in the US to be officially certified for teaching Ableton Live, so he knows a thing or two about the software. Aside from being a great DJ and live performer, JP has consistently thrown underground electronic music events in Minneapolis for years, worked in record stores, started an mp3 label, and basically done everything possible to support this music. This is his second Bunker appearance.
