Zip (aka Dimbiman) is the owner of Perlon, which has consistently released top notch forward thinking dance music since its first release over 10 years ago. It's one of our all time favorite labels, and has been an immeasurably huge influence on techno and house music in the past decade. He's also one half of Pantytec with Sammy Dee. As a DJ, producer, and label head, Zip is one of the most innovative members of the electronic dance music community. Dan Bell and others from the German techno scene always bring up Zip when asked about their favorite DJs. He is the master of the extended set, and practically had people in tears the last time he played for us at subTonic. He is one of our absolute favorite DJs, and almost never makes it to NYC, so we're thrilled to grab him for an exclusive appearance on his way to DEMF.
