Blue Spectral Monkey is an old friend we met at some Richie Hawtin rave (yes, it was a real deal rave) back in 1999. He has played 400 gigs in 21 states in the last decade. He is primarily focused on psytrance lately, but has a diverse collection of psychedelic electronic music covering everything from deep ambient to gooey techno. He has played at subtonic twice before. The first time was back in 2000, when the cocktail waitress spilled an tray of drinks all over the decks and his records. Tonight, BSM says to expect "stretchy superhero stomping through uncharted tunnels in mysterious, cavernous underground realms of sound".

Greg Hurcomb, aka Manimal, is an old pal from the WRSU dayz in New Brunswick. His taste in music has always been top notch and he's got the skillz ta put 'em down right. Spinning "70s and 80s old wave, no school hip hop and classics" regularly with Sonny Ray at their Walkeasy parties, Manimal gets a chance to brush off his collection of classic, deep, dark house and techno records he's steadily built up since back in the days and kick it for real in the basement.

Elliott Golden is primarily a successful illustrator (see his website for some of his images), but he is also a great DJ. Last we heard he was pretty focused on rock music that makes the kids dance. He is also an old friend of Blue Spectral Monkey, so should be a nice reunion.
