Geeta Dayal is one of our favorite people in NYC. She always has something interesting to say about music, math, brain chemistry, vegetarian cooking, and wild combinations of all of the above. Her blog is one of the only ones we bother to read with any regularity. She is a big fan and supporter of the Bunker, so it's only proper that we celebrate her birthday here in style.

Speaking of blogs that are worth reading, guest DJ Simon Reynolds's BlissBlog is highly recommended. He wrote one of our favorite music books ever, "Generation Ecstasy", and just released "Rip It Up and Start Again", which covers the history of post-punk. He claims that he "can't mix for toffee", but we know he has an insane record collection and an encyclopedic knowledge of music, so we are expecting a very interesting opening set.

Paul Kennedy threw the Sci-Fi Soul party at Halcyon and more recently WiLD FLeX at Orchard Bar. Like Simon, he is a true music lover with a ton of records to share with us. He plays everything from lovers rock to grime, so this will be interesting.
