CX Kidtronik used to be in Anti-Pop Consortium and then Airborn Audio. Dude got kicked out of both bands for "clowning" on stage (he was just trying to spice up the show!). Now he's signed to Sound Ink as a solo artist. We first heard him at Crito's birthday party a couple years ago at Frank's Lounge in Ft. Greene. He was totally killing it, going through the entire history of hip-hop and black dance music in a few hours with incredible style ... our jaws were on the floor. Last time he was at the Bunker, he played a little bit of everything and it was amazing ... he had people dancing to the theme from The Price is Right. Count Porkchopulous is the original nyc disco vampire. He's got deep deep deeeeep crates of disco, new wave, house, acid, and god knows what to call half the records he spins. It's Paradise Garage era dark and dirty dance music that will probably make you feel very gay by the end of the night.
