The Bunker presents Blood On The Wall, Delia Gonzalez & Gavin Russom, Mira Billote of White Magic, Sleepy Doug Shaw, DJ Signify, and i-Sound at subTonic
Free downstairs, $5 upstairs
DJ Signify is a turntablist who has been putting out amazing mix tapes for almost a decade. He recently released his debut album as a producer on Lex Records, and it is a dark, cinematic masterpiece. i-Sound is the man behind the amazing Full Watts and Transparent labels, and 1/2 of Wasteland with DJ Scud. Perhaps most well known for his work with To Rococo Rot (or perhaps better known in nyc as the guy with the dreads from Kim's), i-Sound is also one of the best, most experimental party DJ's we have ever heard. Breakcore, drum'n'bass, dancehall, hip-hop, and various absurdities all find their way into the breakneck speed mix when he is behind the decks. We are thrilled to welcome back the Social Registry to the Bunker upstairs midnight series. Tonight is a record release party for the wonderfully noisy Blood on the Wall, who's set will be recorded for a limited edition release on the Social Registry this summer. They are joined by two short solo sets from Mira Bilote of White Magic and Sleepy Doug Shaw.
