Jonas Kopp was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1981. His career as a producer was launched when he was 19 years old. After seven years of hard work he is becoming one of the most well known Argentine talents in the global techno scene. Jonas is known for the constant hypnotic flavour in his tracks, deep spacious basslines, and his faithful attachment to his Detroit and Chicago roots as creative influences. Matthew Dear discovered some digital-only releases from Jonas on Beatport, and played them for Sam Valenti of Ghostly, who flipped for them and re-released Jonas' remix of Plantec on a Death is Nothing to Fear 12" earlier this year. This track went on to become one of the biggest techno hits of the year, destroying the Bunker dancefloor many times.
