Agriculture founder DJ Olive is one of our heroes, someone who we give our deepest respect to, and we are thrilled to finally have him play a dance music set at the Bunker. His set will consist of material similar to the sound of his very well received debut solo album "Bodega" ... deep dubby breaks and backyard jeep beats. The follow-up to "Bodega" is due in April 2005 on the Agriculture. Agriculture newcomer David Last has already caused major waves in the electronic music community with his debut 12". He will be releasing two more 12"s in 2004, and a full length CD in January. His sound is kind of like Mouse on Mars inna Jamaican dancehall. qpe released his debut album on the Agriculture in 2002, and is set to release the follow up in the spring of 2005. His downtempo moody instrumental breakbeat sound has drawn comparisons to DJ Krush, Boards of Canada, and Depth Charge. LadyMan (aka Badawi) is Raz Mesinai's new dub/dancehall project on the Agriculture. Raz's acclaimed recordings under the moniker Badawi, and as one half of the seminal duo Sub Dub, are impossible to classify, but have been called hybrid electronica/dub/percussion/avant-garde compositions.
