This is the record release party for the new Gang Gang Dance LP "Revival of the Shittiest" on The Social Registry. Originally released as a limited edition of 100 on CD-R, it is now available in a limited edition of 1000 on vinyl. Their deeply psychedelic live sets are not to be missed, especially since each one is special and different from the others. Gasheart is a new project that features Dave Nuss (of No-Neck Blues Band) and visual/recording artist Rita Ackerman (who is near the top of kleverVice's Deep Respect List). Marcos Cabral has released a couple of really nice minimal records on Riley Reinhold's Cologne-based Trapez Limited label. He is also a very precise mixer, an excellent minimal techno selector, and one of the few NYC DJ's who will bust out plenty of schaffel tunes. DJ Vagu killed it last time he played at the Bunker. Expect super deep late nate minimal sound. He just returned from a vacation in Germany that included an all day stop at the infamous Kompakt record shop ... so we're sure he has lots of new hot records to share with us. Brian Degraw of Gang Gang Dance and Olivier Payne will be taking over the Bunker for late night duties once the Gang Gang Dance show is over upstairs.
