Flaming Fire (www.flamingfire.com) is like art rock performing madness with fancy outfits, dance moves, and a tight tight musical band with drums and drum machines and samplers and well timed glorious singing! They are so seriously the sh*t that it would be heartbreaking if you didn't see them. In addition to their musical talent members are also working on the worlds first illustrated bible (http://www.lastditcheffort.org/~adam/FFIB/library.php). It's quite spectacular. Simple, primal and sometimes pretty. The Mad Scene play their muses in New York City. They are Hamish Kilgour on guitar, Lisa Siegel on drums, and Steve Thornton on bass. We love their music, we love them as people even more! OCDJ hosts Plug and Play Saturday Nights on WFMU 8pm-11pm. He's an outstanding DJ with oustanding taste. His last playlist had tracks from T. Raumschmiere, Sole, Electric Birds, Danzig(!!!), Sound Murderer, and, god knows why, Richard Simmons! OCDJ is twisted and wonderful and we are super thrilled to have him with us. Blue Spectral Monkey met Spinoza and Movement on the dancefloor of a Richie Hawtin party in Atlanta many moons ago. He is a deeply creative soul who will be spinning psychedelic tech-trance for us before heading off to Jersey City to play an all night party. Monkey has been getting tons of bookings at psy-trance parties all over the country lately.
