Shift (former Target Market Research), an alum of Minneapolis' upstart breakcore label History of the futurE and France's Peaceoff! Records, attacks from the angle of audio architecture, employing any and all tricknology at his disposal to de-reconstruct complicated hip-hop structures along aesthetic lines from the next century.

Every time Donna Summer sends someone our way, they are insanely talented and very entertaining. He suggested Don Augusto Martinez and has this to say about him: "Ariel Bustamonte (AKA Don Augusto Martinez) makes this totally insane hybrid between freewheeling loopy noise and straight-up 4 on the floor techno that is both funky fresh and weird as hell. His noise slaps you in the face, but his funk creeps up on you, and before you know it, that kick drum has you all to itself. Maybe his sound is best compared to Soft Pink Truth, but you'd have though throw just a touch of Merzbow in there to make the comparison apt."
